Pressure Redistribution Foam Mattress

The Protekt™ 100 pressure redistribution foam mattress is specifically designed for the value oriented facilities with limited budgets. The three (3) zones are comprised of 670 individual cells that are independent from one another. This design enables the mattress to conform to the patient’s body and customize support as the patient moves. Excellent pressure redistribution is achieved by varying cell depths throughout the mattress. Special attention is given to the vulnerable heel section to decrease interface pressure.

Gel Infused Memory Foam Overlay

The Infusion mattress is constructed of a dual density foam core and a 2″ gel infused memory foam topper with a firm perimeter border

The Infusion mattress has a weight capacity of 300lbs, and is indicated for the prevention and maintenance of skin health . Each Infusion mattress comes with a four-way stretch, fluid proof, fire retardant (cal. Bulletin 117) anti microbial cover.

The Infusion mattresses come standard in a 36” W x 80” L with an incorporated perimeter border. To suit the most demanding of applications, custom sizes (e.g. up to 60” widths) and configuration (e.g. raised safety bolsters) are available.

Dry Polymer Gel Overlay

The Geo-Matrix™ overlay is constructed of 1″ gel, in a 36″ W x 80″ L configuration. The overlay is designed for use over an existing foam mattress. The overlay is indicated for prevention/maintenance of skin health and the treatment of early stage, non-complex pressure ulcers. Each overlay comes with a four-way stretch, fluid proof, fire retardant (Cal. Bulletin 117) anti-microbial cover.

The Infusion Mattress

This mattress is used for the maintenance of skin health; people with some degree of mobility and who have lower risk of skin breakdown.

This mattress combines the comfort and pressure reduction of memory foam with the durability and temperature regulation of gel. It features a dual-density foam base for added immersion and support and a foam border for aiding in transfers and ADLs. The two-inch topper is made of gel-infused memory foam, manufactured in a unique process to deliver unparalleled comfort and wound prevention. The gel infusion controls the temperature retention qualities of the memory foam, reducing body heat and decreasing perspiration, which reduces the risk of skin maceration.

Gel Overlay

  • Overlay incorporates a series of gel bladders encapsulated between high-density polyurethane sculptured foam and support base
  • This combination creates a therapeutically advanced yet cost effective support surface
  • Optimal environment for prevention/treatment of pressure sores
  • Easy to clean, non-shear/low friction surface
  • Elastic corner straps to secure overlay to mattress
  • Base foundation is a high-density solid one-piece foam constructed core
  • Convoluted high-density TM, a soft nylon urethane coated OFX non-vapor permeable material
  • Bladders contain an aqueous non-toxic gel solution
  • Size hospital twin
  • Components conform to CAL TECH 117 and all infection control standards
  • 34″ x 72″ x 3″

  • Overall dimensions: 35″ x 79″ x 8″

Salute RDX Air Mattress

This mattress is used for the maintenance of skin health; the prevention and treatment of stage I-IV pressure ulcers.

This micro low air loss mattress system utilizes 18 8” combined air cells (4.5” therapy + 3.5” static air) to ensure support even in the event a power loss. The static air cell eliminates the need for a foam base, which means the whole surface can be easily disinfected. The Salute RDX pump powers the advanced 3-1 alternation, which provides active pressure relief: for every three cells, one cell alternates in deflation, off-loading pressure on the body and ensuring 2/3 of the body is always supported at any time.

Additional features:

  • Provides very quiet pressure redistribution
  • Eight electronic comfort settings for both alternation and static modes
  • Mesh center strip keeps cells together and provides protection from slipping between cells in any position
  • “Happy Heel” digital foot section softness adjustment to maximize heel float, reduce heel pressure and protect from shear
  • Uses far less energy than traditional low air loss mattresses, greatly reducing operating costs

Rhythm Multi Mattress

This mattress is used for the maintenance of skin health; the prevention and treatment of stage I-IV pressure ulcers.

This system utilizes three modalities of therapy to treat pressure ulcers. First, low air loss technology with a high flow rate provides pressure and moisture management for the treatment of pressure ulcers. Second, advanced 3-1 alternation provides active pressure relief: for every three cells, one cell alternates in deflation, off-loading pressure on the body and ensuring 2/3 of the body is always supported at any time. Third, for people who cannot tolerate alternation, pulsation provides a gentler means of increasing blood flow through the entire body, while fully supporting the body under all 18 cells for optimum comfort.

Additional features:

  • Suitable for bariatric use
  • Mesh center strip keeps cells together and provides protection from slipping between cells in any position
  • Blower system provides up to 1,200 liters of air per minute to wick away moisture and create a proper climate for the healing of skin ulcers
  • Will wick away up to 1.5 liters of fluid in a 24 hour period
  • Manual “Happy Heel” section to further decrease pressure under the heels
  • Customization options available

Rhythm Turn Mattress

This mattress is used for the maintenance of skin health; the prevention and treatment of stage I-IV pressure ulcers.

This low air loss dynamic system is ideal for at-risk patients and step-down intensive care units. It features continuous lateral rotation therapy at 20 and 40 degrees, which gently turns the patient from side to side, shifting pressure points on the body and greatly lowering the risk of pressure sores, infection, pneumonia and other pulmonary complications—illnesses that significantly add to patient care costs and increase the duration of hospitalization. The turning surface also aids caregivers with manual turning.

Additional features:

  • Suitable for bariatric use
  • Blower system provides up to 1,200 litres of air per minute to wick away moisture and create a proper climate for the healing of skin ulcers
